Exotic Rescue Information: The Exotic is a short-haired cat resembling a Persian, but bred to have a much lower maintenance coat. Exotics are mellow, affectionate pets. Exotics are typically peaceful and not easily disturbed. Females are more reserved than males. Exotics love human companionship, play, and attention. This breed is highly adaptable and does well being adopted at any age.
Exotic Trivia: Exotics are nicknamed the Lazy Man's Persian. The coat of an Exotic gives it a unique, rounded appearance. Exotics are prone to Feline Polycystic Disease, which can cause the kidneys to shut down. Exotics make good inside cats.
